In that time Clint has taught tens of thousands of students in hundreds of classes. LOGIC continues to be the foundation of the school and the approach to learning. This book is a compilation of a lifetime of training and teaching of “the rifle” for over 45 years. In it Clint shares not only technique but wisdom in safe handling and his passion for teaching. I have always appreciated the first day class room talks at ThunderRanch. Your e-mails exhibit a rare quality it took me till later in life to recognize — that there are a lot of really intelligent people out there but not often with a lot of common sense… and that intelligence and common sense are two Different things and not always a part of the same person. What I like best is you have both but the common sense part brings it all home. People seem to do better in life with common sense than with only intelligence.

As a former law enforcement officer and military veteran, I can not express enough appreciation to Mr. Smith for writing this book and sharing his extensive experience, knowledge, logic and practical application of the urban rifle with our community. Its wisdom crosses generations as not only do I (and my friends whom I will be buying copies for) benefit from learning from this book, but also my children who are in the military and those who are not, but share my interests in self-defense and tactics. This book belongs in the professional library of all in the profession of arms and like-minded civilians who seek to maintain the peace.
