MID RANGE RIFLE


Mid-Range Rifle extends the range from 100-700 yards in the field. This course will extend your ability to get first-round hits out to 700 yards, with primary focus inside of Danger Close distances [0-300 yards].

WHAT YOU ARE GOING TO DO IN THE CLASS

Mid-Range Rifle extends the range from 100-700 yards in the field. This course will extend your ability to get first round hits out to 700 yards, with primary focus inside of Danger Close distances [0-300 yards].


Students will see the true capability of their rifle and scope combination. Students will be introduced to team spotting and giving corrections and calls for their partner. In addition students will gain knowledge from exposure to shooting in cross winds and dialing scope corrections/DOPE.


Primary focus is from prone but drills will include field condition application from modified positions. This course is also beneficial for hunters to get data on their rifle at extended distances. NO MAGNUMS. Good scopes mounted to a strong action are advisable.

NO GREEN TIPS, MAGNUMS, TRACERS.

NO STEEL CORE, .338s, OR ZIP GUNS

As a friendly reminder when traveling with suppressors and SBRs…in case you get pulled over etc. You are required to have the appropriate documentation with you.

All Tuitions for Courses and Tutorials are to be paid in full at the time of registration.

CLINT SMITH

Clint Smith, President, and Director of Thunder Ranch® is a Marine Corps veteran of two infantry and Combined Action Platoon tours in Vietnam. His experience includes seven years as a police officer during which he served as head of the Firearms Training Division as well as being a S.W.A.T. member and precision rifleman.


He left law enforcement to serve as Operations Officer for the American Pistol Institute where he was Dean of instruction and was instrumental in range and curriculum development for A.P
