VEHICLE BLOCK
The course will focus on employment and carriage of the handgun in the vehicle and working with a partner to maximize the possibility of a successful outcome in a violent encounter.
Many violent attacks occur while sitting in the vehicle and obviously the best reaction usually would be to step on the skinny pedal and drive away. Sometimes this is not a possibility and other options need to be explored.
This three day class will focus on safely egressing the vehicle and working around your partner in a fluid environment.
Many factors and considerations come into play and will be explored in the course.
What you will do in class:
Work on egressing vehicles while manipulating equipment (seat belt, door, gun)
Focus on handgun manipulation and marksmanship
Use of the vehicle as cover until better cover is located and moved to
Communication with partners to facilitate movement in and around the vehicle
Vehicle ballistics workshop.
