Urban Rifle 2 with Vehicle Defense addresses where we spend a portion of our day; in and around our vehicles. This course is offered ONLY to Thunder Ranch students that have completed Urban Rifle in good to excellent standing and have used their time since to actually practice. Documentation needed. This is not a basic rifle operation course. We will confirm your zero on day one and move forward with other material. If you do not have a zero on your rifle or know what a zero is then the answer is NO. If you have not touched your rifle since you left Thunder Ranch three years ago, then the answer is NO. If you have taken a rifle course somewhere else and want to slide in here when you have not taken Urban Rifle, then the answer is NO. If you do not have an ink signed Thunder Ranch Inc. certificate from Urban Rifle Course, then the answer is NO. If you think no one will notice or confirm your application, then the answer is NO. Read the fine print here: URBAN RIFLE (Texas or Oregon) is A REQUIREMENT, PREREQUISITE, PRECONDITION, CONDITION, CRITERION, MUST, NECESSITY, QUIALIFICATION. UR2VD is a new course with new material, it is not a venue for practicing what you did in Urban Rifle. It will include a REVIEW of material, such as safety, loads, malfunctions, movement, cover, communication, methods of carry and deployment and move forward with new material. It builds on top of the established Urban Rifle Principle and Doctrine. It adds manipulation, deployment, shooting, and movement in, around, and from vehicles. Students must be in good physical shape and be able to sprint 50 yards at high altitude.
