The Defensive Concealed Carry (DCC) course addresses basic skills of gun safety, drawing, loading, and malfunctions. Some advanced skills such as distance firing, shooting and moving, basic tactics, low light handgun operation and other issues specific to the defensive use of a handgun are also covered in this class. This course also addresses methods of, and techniques for, carrying a handgun concealed in warm or cold weather based on client requirements. All of the training and skills addressed in DH1 are covered in this course, but the course is taught only from a concealed carry format.
Back-Up Ankle Gun and Vehicle block includes transitioning from primary belt carry to back up ankle gun, and methods and tactics for safely deploying a handgun from a vehicle. Students for this class must have a GOOD ankle holster that carries a second gun (not their primary gun).
