We travel, back and forth to work, the store, trips etc. The potential for bad things to happen while in transit is very high, from car wrecks that we are involved in or witness, to the rare but increasing number of violent confrontations in static positions, stoplights, parking lots, etc.
This course will provide considerations for when you cannot drive away, from safely egressing the vehicle and maximizing its capabilities as cover until better cover is located, to the treatment of gunshot wounds and other injuries commonly encountered in violent encounters, vehicle collisions, home and industrial accidents, in addition to everyday situations we humans find ourselves in.
This three day class will focus on safely egressing the vehicle and working around your partner in a fluid environment, as well as rendering immediate medical aid until the arrival of a higher level of care.
Many factors and considerations come into play and will be explored in the course..
