Although considered by the unknowing as archaic, the revolver still has a place in personal defense. Whether used primarily for defense or hunting or as a less sensitive back up gun in close contact applications, the revolver still serves a viable functional and effective purpose. The course will cover a full spectrum of applications from muzzle contact to longer ranges. Loading/reloading is covered as expected so a nominal six to ten speed loaders and/or strips are required.
Pocket loading is acceptable but please avoid nail aprons and other silliness not carried on a daily basis…it wastes your training time.
No cross draws or shoulder holsters, addressing range safety for a firing line application.
If you use cross draw or shoulder holsters daily, bring them as the course will address their street application.
Conventional ammunition is required although it is recommended to NOT use full magnums i.e. .44 magnum…but they are permitted if you are interested in beating your hand senseless.
