We’re kicking it up a notch with a class co-taught by Clint, 30 time USPSA/IPSC National Champion and 8 time IPSC World Champion Rob Leatham, and world-class 1911 master builder and owner of Heirloom Precision, Jason Burton

Perfect Storm

WHAT YOU ARE GOING TO DO IN THE CLASS

This class is a one-of-a-kind offering from Thunder Ranch! The course teams up Thunder Ranch’s Expert Staff with arguably the greatest pistol shooter that has ever lived, Rob Leatham. The class is further assisted by Jason Burton, a long-time Thunder Ranch staff instructor as well as being a world-class 1911 builder and owner of Heirloom Precision.

The class starts with the foundational lecture on awareness and personal defense given by Clint and moves forward with building, refining, and performing advanced shooting skills and their application in a defensive environment. As with all Thunder Ranch classes this course will address the safe application of defensive shooting skills with a significant emphasis on shooting performance and technique development.

Students can expect to shoot a nominal 1200 rounds over the 3-day class that will involve individual attention from 30 time USPSA/IPSC National Champion and 8 time IPSC World Champion Rob Leatham. This course is a high repetition environment with a range tempo that will keep the students active and engaged for a very full three days of shooting. Students will be given a comprehensive tactical lecture regarding interior tactics as it relates to the course.

Students can expect to be challenged on the square range with new ideas and techniques as well as the proof of application of skills through multiple runs in the Thunder Ranch shoot-house, The Terminator.

Due to the course tempo and curriculum covered the course is limited to previous DH1 graduates in good standing and who are actively practicing and putting in legitimate range time on their own. Potential students who have successfully completed equivalent curriculum may apply upon approval.

Do not miss this opportunity to get in on Rob’s limited number of classes he teaches every year, combined with Thunder Ranch’s world class facility and staff.

Please note: If you do not possess a firm understanding of firearm safety as well as the ability to safely perform on-demand the basics of marksmanship, the draw stroke, loading/unloading/re-loading your gun, etc., or you have not practiced or touched your gun since your last class then this may not be the course for you.
